ICMM is pleased to report that registration for Congress 2024 in The Netherlands and Belgium is now open! Please use the ‘Register Now’ link to complete your registration. Early-bird fees for ICMM Members will be €525 (Euros). Standard registration and non-member rates will be higher if you are not an ICMM member or if you are registering after 30th April 2024. All registrations from 1st May onwards will be at the standard rate. The closing date for registration will be 15th August at 12pm CEST (Central European Summer Time). Places are limited and we encourage you to register as early as possible.

The 2024 Congress has been organised in collaboration with four host museums:

Zuiderzeemuseum – Enkhuizen, Netherlands
Het Scheepvaart, National Maritime Museum – Amsterdam, Netherlands
Museum aan de Stroom (MAS) – Antwerp, Belgium
The full programme with speakers will be available soon. In the meantime, we are delighted to announce that Dr Helen Czerski and Prof Wayne Modest are confirmed as two of our keynote speakers. Please read on for the outline programme and locations.

Pre-Congress – Sunday 15th September – Rotterdam
Day 1 – Monday 16th September – Rotterdam
Day 2 – Tuesday 17th September – Rotterdam
Day 3 – Wednesday 18th September – Travel by coach from Rotterdam with luggage to Enkhuizen for field trip to Zuiderzeemuseum. Onward coach travel after dinner to hotels in Amsterdam.
Day 4 – Thursday 19th September – Amsterdam
Day 5 – Friday 20th September – Amsterdam
Day 6 – Saturday 21st September – Antwerp (Optional day trip, additional fee applies to cover travel to and from Amsterdam, activities and some meals).
